As Investment Manager in Long-Term Equity in KIRKBI, you will be joining a focused team working with a variety of investments and a high activity level of EUR ~1bn invested over the past three years. The team consists of highly skilled and dedicated investment professionals. In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills and you will be working with many different aspects of Corporate Finance/M&A.

The position:

As Investment Manager you engage in identifying investment opportunities and will participate in all aspects of the investment process. In this position, you have a key role in financial modelling to support and influence decisions making. You will work in close collaboration with the Investment Committee and refer to directly to the Vice President for Long-Term Equity.

Primary areas of responsibility:

  • Identification of potential investment opportunities including quantitative and qualitative screening and analysis
  • Individual company evaluation including market attractiveness and future value creation potential
  • Due diligence and financial analysis of potential return levels and scenarios
  • Monitoring and relationship building/maintenance with companies identified as short-listed investment candidates
  • Assist in management of current investment portfolio including strategic agenda and financial reporting

Qualifications:

  • You have a financial or business oriented master degree from a renowned university and an outstanding academic record
  • You have 2-4 years of experience with company due diligence and investment decisions, potentially from a position within a private equity fund, investment bank or top-tier management consultancy
  • International experience is an advantage or, as a minimum, you have worked with international transactions

It is necessary to be able to speak and write Danish and English at business level. Furthermore you must expect to travel 1-3 days a week, including working out of our office in Billund 1-2 days on a weekly basis.
